(1) The Nepal Pharmaceutical Research Center established by the Government of Nepal will be the main organ of the Government of Nepal for scientific research, testing and analysis of drugs.
(1A) The procedure to be adopted by the Nepal Pharmaceutical Laboratory established in accordance with sub-section (1) during the scientific research, testing and analysis of drugs shall be as prescribed.
(2) For the scientific research and development of any drug, any local or foreign person or organization may establish another research institute or laboratory with the approval of the Government of Nepal.
